Zutron Pharmaceuticals Limited participated and sponsored the 2024 Annual Review Meeting of the Society of Medical Laboratory Managers, Greater Accra Chapter, held at Mamobi General Hospital with focus “Delivering Exceptional Health Outcomes Through Patient-Centered Laboratory Services, Driven by Partnership and Excellence” on April 16, 2025.
The event brought together medical laboratory professionals from across the region for a day of insightful discussions, technical presentations, and peer collaboration focused on elevating the standards of medical laboratory practice.
The focus of discussion centered around presentation on Tuberculosis (TB), External Quality Assessments (EQA) assessment, presentation on laboratory accreditation, presentation on ‘waste management practices in medical & veterinary laboratories in Greater Accra Region’, and presentation on Blood Bank Assessment in some selected facilities in Greater Accra Region.
Zutron Pharmaceuticals with other suppliers had the opportunity to showcase innovative diagnostic tools and products, including the EKF Hemo Analyzer, G6PD Test Kits, and HemotypeSC. Zutron also distributed complimentary EDTA Tubes to all participating lab managers as a token of appreciation.
This meeting seeks to enhance our collaboration with the services and patient care.
