Zutron Pharmaceuticals Organizes Breast Cancer Health Talk and Screening for Employees, 2025
As part of our commitment to employee wellness, Zutron Pharmaceuticals Limited successfully organized a Breast Cancer Health Talk and Screening on October 17, 2025 at its Head Office.
The session was expertly led by Madam Esther Baiden Essilfie, a Registered General Nurse at the University of Ghana Medical Center (UGMC). The program formed part of activities to mark Breast Cancer Awareness Month, aimed at educating staff on early detection, prevention and management of breast cancer.
During the health talk, Madam Essilfie provided in-depth education on:
- Understanding breast cancer and its risk factors
- Recognizing early warning signs and symptoms
- The importance of regular breast self-examination (BSE)
- Clinical breast examinations and screening guidelines
- Lifestyle choices that promote breast health
A practical demonstration on breast self-examination and on-site breast cancer screening was conducted, allowing participants to learn correct techniques and ask questions in an open and supportive environment, reinforcing the importance of early detection as a key factor in improving treatment outcomes and survival rates.
The company reaffirmed its commitment to promoting preventive healthcare and supporting initiatives that enhance the well-being of its workforce.
